Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday (August 7, 2025) that Israel intends to take navy management of all of Gaza and can ultimately hand it over to Arab forces that may govern it correctly.
“We intend to,” Netanyahu stated in an interview with Fox Information when requested if Israel would take management of all the 26-mile strip. “We do not wish to hold it. We wish to have a safety perimeter. We do not wish to govern it. We do not wish to be there as a governing physique.”
