There’s virtually no ecosystem on Earth left untouched by human exercise, in line with new analysis that implies widespread change from air pollution, wildlife extinctions and disruption to flowers is pushing the planet into uncharted territory.
“We now have shifted the system to circumstances that now we have not seen earlier than,” says Alejandro Ordonez at Aarhus College in Denmark.
