4 killed in helicopter crash at Turkish hospital

4 folks have been killed in southwest Turkiye on Sunday (December 22, 2024) when an ambulance helicopter collided with a hospital constructing and crashed into the bottom.

The helicopter was taking off from the Mugla Coaching and Analysis Hospital, carrying two pilots, a health care provider and one other medical employee, the Well being Ministry stated in an announcement.

Mugla’s regional Governor, Idris Akbiyik, instructed reporters the helicopter first hit the fourth ground of the hospital constructing earlier than crashing into the bottom. Nobody contained in the constructing or on the bottom was harm. The reason for the accident, which befell throughout heavy fog, was being investigated.

Footage from the location confirmed particles from the crash scattered across the space exterior the hospital constructing, with a number of ambulances and emergency groups on the scene.
